 Good to hear that the blade actually has a Hartzell number which allows the removal of the 7".

 I assume you're referring to the Landoll type "damper". If so, believe me that it has WAY less effectiveness at removing the damaging 6th and 8th order torsionals which the Lyc pendulous c-wts are tuned for.   In fact, I don't think it is tuned for any order or frequency in particular.
 
 re:.....I find the smoothest operation above 2600 rpm, acceptable in the 2300-2550 rpm, and ugly in the below 2200 rpm range...
