I'd like to "third" and "fourth" Bob's recommendation of the Rocky Mountain Instruments Micro-encoder.  The name "encoder" is a grave understatement of its capabilities. It is almost an Air Data Computer. I found it to be indispensable.
Altimeter;
VSI;
OAT;
TAS;
Density Altitude (worth the price alone if you're operating in hot environments)
and more. Ron Mowrer (RMI) is a great guy to deal with.

ALSO, RMI makes a great little engine instrument with multiple functions and presentation on ONE screen of all critical engine data, including fuel burn and fuel remaining.
