Bill,
 No I won't trade. I don't have any long nose gear forks in stock and
haven't had for a number of years. Like I said on the phone, this was a
real early strut and there were only a small number made. It wouldn't do
me any good at all to have it sitting on my shelf collecting dust. I
have never had anyone call needing one. If for some reason someone with
the shorter strut needed a new one, the style I have now will work for
them.

I don't have another one, Bill. That was the one that I received with
my kit.  I wonder if Kit Components will trade it in for an 18-in one?
 It must fit some LIV.  I got an all new one with the V8 engine that I
bought and that's why I had it, a cowling and an engine mount left over.

John:  The nose gear strut that I purchased from you for my L-IV-P is
the wrong size.  The original was 18 3/4 inches long.  The one you sent
