I realize this is ancient history but I remember building my first Lancair using epoxy/flox to close surfaces.  That was back in the 80's when a fast build kit was buying flat prepreg panels for the ribs ect.  There was a special adhesive that was used to bond the seams but I only remember using it when you used pop rivets to clamp it.

While epoxy/flox is not the standard used today there are a bunch of Lancairs flying that were put together that way.  I would be more concerned about how well the job was done and less about what was used.

Comments from early builders???
