Tim,
     You probably replied to the wrong guy, but it was timely.  I just purchased a Bosch 750 24 volt 1100 watt (peak) motor.  I figure it, when when coupled with the right Sandin 6 cubic inch compressor, will put out 2400 btu's. This is probably not really enough for this Texas heat but it should take the edge of, especially since I can run it off the power cart after I pull it out of the hangar.  The condenser and evaporator are already installed.
    I enjoyed meeting you at Sun-n-Fun and putting a face to the name.
