One reason I got rid of my Bose headsets was that my Legacy produced a very loud noise when the gear came down, and the Bose headset just could not handle that frequency. (Switching to the Telex Stratus 50B solved that problem completely.) You will not only be the envy of Legacy drivers, but you will be quieter by many many decibels with the gear down. Ron Legacy N27RM
