"Finesse" was the material of choice for N21SN. It weighs 1/3 the weight of leather, doesn't scratch, isn't affected by chemicals, doesn't turn blue when you slide on it with Levis', etc. (and costs the same or more)
The seats each weigh 4 pounds total, complete from knee to shoulders. The total weight of all my interior is 12 pounds. Side panels (6), headliner, carpet, etc. So, I estimate I saved about 20 pounds. For a LNC2 that weight savings is significant. Difficult to save that much weight anywhere else in the plane. And now there is "Ultra-leather" which may be even better than "Finesse"
