On many occasions, I have visited Joe Bartels in New Orleans while he was
building his Lancair IVP.  I can tell you firsthand that he is successful,
smart, compassionate and a very meticulous individual.  I've seem him re-do
things on his airplane that some of us may have let slide.  Joe is one of those
multi talented people, doing several projects well at the same time.  I'm sure
the Lancair ownership project is one that he will do well.  Of course, the best
part is.....Joe is a builder, a "wet-fingered lay-up guy", who deserves our
support.
