It is a great experience you are begining and from my experience, I hope you enjoy it half as much as I. I have built three airplanes and the Lancair has been by far the most satisfying. It is a kit, an experimental kit, and when you understand that like everything else in this world, it is far from perfect, you will really enjoy the process. To all you folks who seem frustrated enough to complain, I say:" go to Redmond in September for the Barbecue and see fourty or so beautifully completed Lancairs. Talk to their proud builders about their completed planes and the problems and joys they went thru to get to this point.
