For Jeff Davey

Thanks for the photos of your gear doors.  Do you know if your doors were upgraded to Lancair's Service Bulletin AS061-0918?   I couldnt tell from your photos.

I was really surprised that my doors flexed enough to catch the gear as I was pretty lavish with my carbon fiber application.  Of course, the original clark fiber/carbon fiber reinforced section was only about 10 inches long.  The new recommendation is much longer.

My sliders end about 4-5 inches short of the "L" portion of the door.
I'm wondering if that "gap" could be part of  the problem.  Hope to hear from the experts at Redmond tomorrow.  Meantime I'm waiting for the new 1/4 inch thick HDPE material to arrive so I can start the modifications.

Again, thanks for taking the time to help.

Best Regards,  Bill Hogarty
