Interesting experiences. I am wondering if anyone has had an STEC system that rolled into a bank angle and went to the stops? There was a fellow in Kentucky that had an autopilot (STEC) failure IMC and the system  did not automatically shut off when the turn coordinator failed and he did not detect the failure until in a big angle of bank and altitude loss. He lost control of the aircraft but survived the crash. Jeff
