After several episodes of vapor lock, I finally built a box around my fuel
filter and gas lines leading to the fuel pump. The filter and lines are
installed on the engine side of the firewall. I also insulated the fuel
lines. A 1" duct from the upper baffle chamber runs into the top of the box
and exits at the fuel pump.

Fall has come and it has cooled off enough so that I don't have any info as
to the improvement. I will later test with a thermocouple attached to the
line inlet the fuel pump. Only thing I know about the temps is that the fuel
line was very hot to the touch, during one of the times I suffered vapor
lock.
