Gentleman,
Put your hands together for Jerry Knapp's (pecan@pflash.com) first
flight of N360GK. Yesterday at about 2:00 pm from Pecan Plantation I
was proud to witness the most professional assembly of aviation minded
helpers putting the finishing tweaks on Jerry's plane. The most notable
thing about the evolution was Jerry's disciplined submission to his crew
chief's orchestration of the event. The cowboy factor was held at zero
through out the day. Prior to going there were 3 minor squawks that
were worked off in an extremely efficient and disciplined manor. With
total concurrence from his staff of about 10 folks Jerry took the
runway. The flight consisted of clean and dirty approach to stalls and
a 1st landing over in Cleburne (6000 ft rwy). Upon return to Pecan
Plantation I'd have to say his plane was running like a scalded ape.
Congratulations Jerry! You have much to be proud of!
