I called up Jeffco Epoxy and talked to one of their guys about their 1307 resin system.  He said that their resin had a HDT (Heat Distortion Temperature) of 190 degrees F.  He also said they had just done a study of paint color on wind turbine blades and that even ones painted dark colors only got to 165 degrees.  I asked Lancair what the HDT of their prepreg system was but they couldn't tell me.  I'm still researching but the oven cure time is an indicator of what the final MIGHT be.  Since they cure at 260 degrees F, their resin system could very likely be in that range but it isn't a certainty at all.

As for me, I'd rather have a higher HDT resin system.  Dan
