Ron,

One bay aft of the tail tie down I'm sure I was getting 2-3"
of standing water.  Both aft CG issues and overnight freeze (ice
expanding destruction) were concerns that drove me to add a drain to my
tail.

Larry

My mechanic noticed a lot of water in the fuselage at about the front of the vertical stabilizer. I will have to check and make sure that there isn't any further back. We drilled a hole in the fuselage at about this point. Over a quart of water came out. Not the kind of weight I needed in an already aft weighted aircraft.
