Hi pressure air direct to #2 can cause it to provide an artificially lean mixture. Gee, too bad you didn't try blocking the direct cooling airflow to the #2 injector shroud before going to "balanced" injectors.  Hi pressure air direct to #2 can cause it to provide an artificially lean mixture.
