Some to feed the engines, some to move fuel around for CG control, etc. I know some guys that almost never use the boost pump and have never had a problem - I guess the mechanical pumps are pretty reliable - but it only takes once, so why chance it? I figure if I'm gong to lug it around all the time, I might as well use it. Dan Schaefer
