Pretty amazing Clark. I have N5ZQ and I love it. (Five Zee Que).
Yes, I occasionally have to throw in the November but I haven't had any of the
other problems that were alluded to. I sure like the looks of the short
numbers on the side of the fuselage too. These are such tiny airplanes that, if
you choose to go with 12 inch numbers like I did, long numbers
become...well...really long numbers in paint. They end up taking up a
substantial percentage of the paint job.
If you plan on much international flying, the 12 inch numbers are
necessary. If you just plan on the very occasional trip to Canada or the
Bahamas, you can always stick on temporary 12 inch numbers.

[snip] My Lake was renamed (by its previous owner)
N3ZQ. It was awful - a huge pain in the neck. Every single time I
called any ATC facility, I always had to say "November Tree Zulu Kebeck"
because if I said "Tree Zulu Kebeck" they would INVARIABLY respond "Tree Zulu
Kebeck, say full call sign." Very frustrating! [snip]
Even
worse, N3ZQ featured two letters you NEVER want in your call sign. Avoid "Q"
and "Z" at all costs - ATC personnel jot them down on a piece of paper, then
moments later they read them back as "zero" and
"two".
