I use the boost on take off & landing (and when I forget to turn it off).  I have an electric-solenoid -type prime system so I need pressure before the engine pump.  This was installed from many hours behind a Continental... probably don't need it with the 0-320 Lyc.   Earl LNC2 N233EE

For those of you with normally aspirated 0-320s, when do you use the boost pump?  Engine start? Takeoff? Climb? Landing? Never? Emergency only?  Just wondering what everyone else does.
