You might look in the Yellow Pages in your area for Bandag or Goodyear truck tire retreaders/service centers. They frequently have wheel refurbishing systems on the premises that use lead shot for old paint and rust removal. After a certain period of time the shot "wears out" and they dispose of it (not sure if they recyle with their supplier or just have it hauled off). You would then ,of course have to buy some heavy duty fabric to make some bags for the shot. Typically it's collected in 5 gal. buckets. It might even be free for the asking!!! Mike Rowell N360CR
