A stall-spin absolutely should not occur when an aircraft is equipped with
an AOA or RLI-type devise.  Further, practicing stall avoidance and  stall
recovery will help to avoid incipient spin.

My experience in my long-winged LNC2 is that stall occurs below 55 mph and
is very controllable with rudder alone.  It mushes down-ward in altitude
rather than dropping a wing and instantly recovers when power is applied
even with full flaps and gear extended.             Greg Nelson
