I've insured my 320 with Avemco since 1966.  Their quote for my upcoming renewal is $1535 for $1M/100,000 and "not in flight" hull $90,000 w/$1000 deductible.  The agent I talked to gave me the phone number for Falcon insurance.  The EAA seems powerless and apparently have no influence with their "partner".

I am 61, Commercial, ASMEL, Instrument rated with 1800 total hours, 480 in the Lancair and no claims. The plane is hangared at a towered airport in NE Illinois.

Maybe this forum could information from other Lancair owner/pilots who have successfully obtained reasonably priced insurance, and from what agency. Scott Krueger
