Boy, anyone who would install the top with the instrument panel in place has
more guts than me.  I simply want my panel tested thoroughly before the top
goes on.  I can install the LAI panel in about an hour with the top off.
That is, of course, the second time.  It comes out as easily.
I DO want to know our panel is functional BEFORE the top goes on.  Trying to
work on it after will add much wear and tear to the aircraft interior as
well as eat up valuable time.  Trips to Redmond probably required.
Kirk, I'm sure I have mentioned the brightness of the gear and trim diodes
before.  We probably had some issues of smoke that were more important at
the time and maybe I was trying to be nice by not clobbering you with
everything at once.  I rue my mistake.  In the future you shall have a
difinitive list of every squawk as soon as it is apparent.
I do still thank you for all your efforts this past week.  I'm confident all
will work out well.  It is the most beautiful panel I have ever seen.  Its
capabilities are phenominal.  Why didn't we have this when I was flying?
