Forget Avemco. They sold me a Construction policy 8 months before I was to fly and said I could apply the difference to the full Ins. policy. I had 2 quotes from them for full coverage and they wouldn't honor them because there rules had changed. NO hull on L4P's.

I checked into it farther and found a roomer that Textron had bought Avemco and since they own Cessna they had new reason to just pick the planes to insure that make money and use Lycoming engines. Anybody else hear this roomer?

I got full coverage for less than Avemco's Quote from Aviation Insurance Managers, Inc. Steve Neeley 330-494-1500.

Recently I heard of another company that I will pass along when I get it.
