Point of clarification: The timeframe for a graphite prepreg structure absorbing/releasing moisture is days to weeks, not minutes or hours. An airplane that lives in AL (very hot and humid during the summer) might still have a relatively weaker and softer structure after visiting ND (much cooler and less humid) for a week or more. It certainly won't loose much moisture on the trip up to ND.

(Yes, I have lived in both ND and AL during summer months, I now live in KS. Almost as hot and humid as AL in the summer and cold and windy as ND in the winter)
