This discussion is getting old although it is a very important issue. I have
stated before, the only way to protect assets from any type of litigation is to
not own anything personally. The only way to do that is through the use of
Trust(s).
Control it but don't own it.
As far as financial protection for your family in case of your untimely death,
that is what Life Insurance is for! Don't look to someone else to provide for
your family if you are not around. Plan ahead and plan well.
