Can any one tell me in words of one syllable, the differerence, if any,
between a recombinant gas battery (RG)and a sealed lead acid(SLA).

I have recently bought, in Canada, a portable booster kit for autos which
has a SLA 17AH battery plus its own on board charger($55US). Comes complete
with cables and battery clamps.  It says it is sealed and non spillable.
How does that differ from a RG battery?
