2000 FPM in the landing pattern????? What was your dive angle? You are
supposed to be on a stabilized approach on final. At 100 mph and 3 degree
glideslope that equates to about 450-500 FPM. A 2000 FPM equates to a 6.5
degree glideslope at 180 knots.
Or even worse, 12.7 degrees at 90 KTS. Yep, it was as bad as it could be.
