The discussion on right rudder peddals is very interesting.  I never thought
about resale value being a consideration but then some people will consider
it.  My personal position is one that I would not sell my airplane since I,
as the manufacturer am liable and on the hook for fifteen years thereafter.
Some of us may not own more than our plane, clothes, beater car and some
personal effects but if you own more than say $500,000 net worth you could
be a target for a liability suit due to some clutz boring a hole in the
ground with the bird you built and the grieving spouse gets taken in by a
greedy attorney.  I have some horror stories about attorneys.  Won't bore
you with the facts.  Beware of the pitfalls in selling. It appears that
there are benefits and reasonable choices to be or not to be regards pedals.
Study your options, go forward and enjoy the ride.
