" The FlightOp 200 is the Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS) that the experimental aircraft market has been waiting for. A large, 10.4 or 8.4 inch liquid-crystal sunlight-readable, color display and an intuitive pilot interface will allow every pilot to begin using the system's powerful features immediately. The display unit is driven by a powerful computing unit, housed in a separate enclosure to allow for mounting in a dedicated avionics bay, or within the cabin. The low-profile display platform requires less than 2 inches behind the instrument panel. Keeping the experimental pilot in mind, the need for a separate GPS receiver is eliminated by including a 12-channel GPS receiver in the computing unit. Engine instrumentation is driven by up to 16 analog sensor inputs that can be customized to an individual installation. To facilitate product upgrades, and future navigation display upgrades, an external CD-ROM is included with the FlightOp 200 system. This CD-ROM also allows for more flexible mounting options to fit the needs of a variety of cockpit configurations." Prices quoted are $9600 for the 10.4" and $9500 for the 8.4" display, but excludes the Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS), of which the Crossbow or Watson Industries units it is compatible with according to the preview. The company is called Op Technologies.
