Yes ! Somebody said it is fine to have a little overspeed with a fixed speed
on these engines. This is the way to get good performance on fixed props,
and these engines dont mind. But I really don't know, and I'm happy with
exactly redline. I dont hear any extra noises, what I was referring to was
prop noise. So I feel fine, but I only have about 350 hours on it.
Sometimes I wish I could enter controlled airspace at 230 kts (while
decending) and ask if they wish me to slow down, but my engine will
overspeed over 200 kts even when I throttle back. This could be improved
with a CS :-)
