Therefore, one does not have to worry about "fly-by-night" insurers because other insurance companies must pick up coverage of any insurer that goes broke. Texas law also prescribes the format and verbage of the coverages specified within the insurance policies so as to minimize the likelihood that insurers will use exculpatory or tricky language to avoid thier obligations under the policies.
