<< LNC2 Fixed Pitch Propeller Survey >>

The fixed pitch propeller I've been using on my LNC2 (235/320) is an
Aymar-Demuth 62 x 76.  It seems to be just right - good takeoff/climb/cruise
numbers.  Constant-speed would be much better, of course, but...

I did try a Sterba 64 x 78 and the overall numbers were noticeably better as
compared to the Demuth, but the ground clearance was a major consideration
and the vibration was unacceptable -- the Demuth is VERY smooth.  The Demuth
prop also is a "composite" so delamination isn't a problem.

Survey info:

1) Diameter     62
2) Pitch    76
3) Manufacturer    Aymar-Demuth
4) Engine horsepower    150
5) Are you satisfied with your propeller performance?    YES

Cheers!
