Gahh ...... what a drag, to say the least,  but I sincerely thank
you for sharing your experience.

We should all consider the hazards of FOD (foreign object debris). Boeing
has a video about FOD which documents how a 2 cent plastic dust cap cost
the company hundreds of thousands of dollars. If it can happen to Boeing it
can happen to anyone.
