Do not boost Leave throttle completely closed. Move prior to engine firing Mixture at idle cutoff. Begin cranking Slowly move mixture towards rich. When engine fires, move mixture to rich and slightly advance throttle, if needed to idle. If this fails, then do flooded start. OPen throttle and mixture and boost for 5-10 sec. Throttle full open Mixture at idle cutoff Start cranking Slowly move throttle towards idle. This controls air reaching cylinders and at some point the correct mixture will occur and engine should fire. If and when engine stumbles, move mixture to rich Close throttle as needed to idle.
