In setting the check nuts on the elevator push tubes I'd like to know if using locktite is an accepted or recommended procedure. The concern I have is that a check nut - most notably the ones at both ends of the aft push tube - could vibrate loose. Neither of these check nuts is in an area that is easily accessible for pre-flight inspection. So what is the proper way to secure these push tubes and how mush trust do I put in these check nuts?
