No electric cs from Whirlwind. You are going cs? Try the Marcotte gearbox
or Francois' new one and use a standard cs hub with the Whirlwind
graphite blades. It's only money.

Marc,
I shutter at the thought of changing gearboxes. The Marcotte has an
offset output shaft that would require me to lower the engine, which
would mean that I would have to re-do the motor mount, redesign the
cooling system, exhaust and cowl (more glass work). While I was
hoping to find a more cost effective solution to the prop, I guess I will
have to settle for the CS M/T prop. I guess I can justify the cost
by considering the gobs of cash I saved by not going with a certified
engine (IO-550). Don't you just love rationalization?
