Thank you very much. That's better than anything I've found so far.
I did also turn up a site for Allied Wire and Cable:

but they don't have a "real" on-line catalog, and I haven't yet found a reference to minimum-order-quantities, so I'll have to email them. But they seem to offer every mil-spec variant known. But if I have to order in 1000' spools, I'm out of their market segment.

Actually, Dale, I think I can help you out. I also was looking for the same
thing and found it. Here is the URL of the site I ordered my colored
aircraft wire from. Reasonably priced as well. Colored aircraft wire from
AWG 22 to AWG16 in white, black, yellow, blue, red, green, purple, white
with blue stripe, white with black stripe, etc.
They also have other things useful for the electrical system of an aircraft,
grounding blocks for one. Give them a look.
