I have been looking at how a redundant belt that would continue to drive the
water pump could be installed, but have not found a viable routing.

I hadn't thought of the advantages of a second independent belt to act as
a
back up for the water pump.  Was actually thinking of an thermostatically
switched EWP as backup and trying to do something at the other end of the
motor.  Any option to use the flywheel teeth to drive something or is that
a
silly one?
Cheers
