Ok, Rusty, I'll do that when I take the ducts
out to install. Be early next week, then I'll take photos of them side by
side.
Let's see, this is June 11, so Performance
Propellers should start making my prop a MONTH FROM NOW! Arrggg!
Withdrawal pains are beginning to increase.
But, still got a few things to do to the
aircraft, want to redo my motor mounts as I find I have no rubber insulation
between engine and mount (it just looks that way). Would like to switch to
LS1 coils, need to get the EC2 updates in any case, so that would be the time to
have it converted to LS1 coils.
Anyone know of a supplier with a good price on
the LS1 coils? The electrical connector as well, those things cost
almost as much as the coils. I think I can find some non-OME connectors at
a much more reasonable price.
I purchased on coil back a while ago just to see
what it weighed and to have for mounting measurements. The price of the
coil was reasonable, but the electric connector surprised me.
Anyhow, how is the V-3 Rusty? Sounds like you
have picked up lots with Tracy's old Prop and your new intake.

Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: New Truncated
Streamline Ducts
I have kept the old ducts and will put them
back on when I get some instrumentation hooked up so we can do a side by side
comparison.
Very
nice. It'll be interesting to see the results (in a couple
months). While you're in a picture posting mood, how about a picture of
old and new ducts side by side for comparison?
Cheers,
Rusty
