Mode 6
went away Rusty. The EC2 now has a turbo boost retard built in that
linearly retards timing between 32 to 60" Hg. Nominal timing is 13 deg
BTDC by the time it reaches 60" MAP. This is to avoid
detonation.
That sounds perfect, and just
what's needed. Hmmm, even I might need this some day :-) Just out of
curiosity, when did this change occur? I think I have one of the later, if
not the latest versions of software, so I'm guessing I have this new
feature. Of course I was just looking up Mode 6 in my manual, that came
with the EC-2 firmware :-)
The next question is- does Todd
have this feature in his software? I would think anyone running a turbo
should make sure they get this ASAP.
