        Ken Welter told me that it works for him, however I haven't heard back from him. I don't know if there is an easy way to confirm this. Any volunteers?

 The other thing we have to ask is what ignition controller is Ken using?  If he's not using Tracy's then all bets are off.  Mazda times these plugs differently, but I'm pretty sure that Tracy times them the same.  Turning off the trailing plugs with an EC-2 might not do a thing, or it might work better.  I just don't know.  

Tracy already has a timing advance feature (mode 6), that can be used as a timing retard of 4 degrees at whatever MAP setting you want.  I'm not sure that's enough change though.   If there's going to be a new feature, why not make something more along the lines of a significant timing retard that happens at a set MAP.  This would stop detonation, as well as notify you via reduced power that you had crossed the line.
