Ed, I'm using a couple of 1594's reading the EGT on my RX-7 and feeding
a BX-24 processor which then feeds a VFD the formatted serial data. TC
output directly into the ADCs won't work, the TCs output millivolts, a
little tough to get decent granularity with standard ADCs. The 1594s
make it real easy to do this. Of course, The BX is also reading all FI
computer parameters, fuel pressure, oil temp, oil pressure, coolant
pressure, coolant temp, you name it, and displaying these on the VFD,
the BX is a neat little processor!

Thats the trouble, so many neat gadgets one could build and so little time
to do it {:>).  I must admit I have not heard of the BX-24 processor.  I'll
have to look it up on the net.
