I love hearing about first flights,  Congrats Steve!  

I'm sure you'll get the cooling worked out but I agree with Dave about ground cooling not being a good indicator of in-flight cooling.   I'll get the much coveted "I Love Flying My Mazda Rotary" button out to you.
