I certain am not biased against Canards (even if they have the engine on
the wrong end {:>)), I seriously considered a Long EZ but concluded that my
flying needs (and reluctance to get into composite construction) dictated
that the RV was the better aircraft for my purposes.
I hesitate to post things that I have posted before so as not to unduly
clutter up the list especially when they may be consider somewhat esoteric
by most. I keep telling myself I should establish my own web site (my
aircraft stuff is hosted on another individual's web site) to host such
items.
Right now I have several things that might be of interest.
I have two spreadsheets that calculate power, fuel burn, rpm, BTU generated
and some crude cooling models for both the NA and Turbo 13B which data has
shown to have a fairly good correlation with what folks are reporting.
I have over 18MB of presentation slides and "Formal" derivation of the
Rotary Dynamic Intake Effect analysis. Its composed of 67 slides
(PowerPoint) which is why its so large a file. Even zipped its 12 MB
I have other bits and pieces from the Hemlhotz equation adapted for the
rotary to cooling duct coordinate generators, to some early analysis of the
cooling effectiveness of the Gm evaporator cores used by many.
I hesitate to impose such a mess on anybody's web site. What I need to do
it check with my Service Provider, they provide a 5 MB size web page hosting
for free. I would need more than that, but it might be reasonable.
