Rusty, move to Canada  ;-)  Most people up here regularly put card-board in front of their rad's.

Let's see, move to the great white north, or admit I'm wrong.... I'm NOT that stubborn :-)

One of my biggest problems (luckily) with cooling has been low temps in cruise.  If I'm only seeing 160 F in climb on an 80 degree day, it's going to be very low in cruise, when high, fast, and cold outside.   Once I have the coolant and water wetter added, I'll feel OK about allowing higher temps for the water, and will have to reduce the airflow to raise the overall temps about 50 F.  So far, oil is cool, but not as overcooled as water is, so I can imagine starting by closing the cowl cheeks, and hoping oil is still OK.  If so, I can further reduce water by reducing one, or both inlets.  Probably won't use any cardboard :-)

Cheers,
Rusty (screw training tomorrow, I'm leaving for home in the morning, but not soon enough to get John's turbo to him by Sat)
