    Why are you guys using "tap water"...?  Shouldn't you be using distilled water in an aluminum block and aluminum heat exchanger...?
 
    Personally, I wouldn't even use tap water in my car.  I've read that any mineral content in the water gets plated out on the interior walls of the system.  At the least, this will reduce the system's ability to transfer heat.  If sulfur is present in the 'tap' water, it'll actually attack the aluminum parts.
 
    I think tap water is a very bad idea...  Am I nutz...?

Hi ...40%antifreeze/60% tap water plus water wetter.
