I rest my case!  : )

Tracy  (sorry, couldn't resist)

Don't make me have to come over there :-)    As I've said before, "education, and entertainment" means I'm educated (usually the hard way), and you're entertained.  I brought home an intake gasket, to start thinking about tubing sizes for a new manifold.

FWIW, rev-2 is cleared for departure.  Tuning went reasonably well today.  It's still on the rich side, but that's where it seems to be most comfortable.  Transitions are still the biggest problem, with the engine being lean on the way up, and rich on the way down.  At least I got rid of all but a minor stumble when adding throttle from idle.

There was too much crosswind for my taste today, and tomorrow was supposed to be better.  Unfortunately, they're now calling for 18 mph winds tomorrow, varying direction from bad, to worse.  Rats.  I'm off next week, but won't be able to do much climb testing with the swarm of T-34's holding me to 900 ft.  I suppose  I could try to call ATC, but they're generally not helpful in getting me altitude over my field.

Cheers,
Rusty (watch that fence smart guy <g>)
