Next time you do static run-up, install the blower secured on the ground between the main gear and have it blow into the air intake. This will give you an idea what will happen on takeoff. I bet your temperatures will be lower with this setup. Do you 13B drivers tend to just taxi out at low rpm then launch? Would your= engine overheat if you did a 15 minute medium power runup? I'd appreciate a= ny general thoughts, or comments on how much ground running I should expect = to get away with before the temps get too high. Anything else I should check= ?
 
John, you have in the hangar one huge AC blower. Next time you do static= run-up, install the blower secured on the ground between the main gear and = have it blow into the air intake. This will give you an idea what will happe= n on takeoff. I bet your temperatures will be lower with this setup.
