I’m not expecting a flow reduction with my setup of large hoses and cooler down stream of the engine but I agree I need to test it.
Ive got to work out how to ’T' into the front cover without spending $$$.

Sorry for the thread drift, but, 'cooler downstream of the engine'?
So, your oil cooler is plumbed *before* the oil pump? I thought conventional wisdom on cooling is to plumb the cooler *after* the pump, because pressurizing adds heat which needs to be removed, plus the extra heat (delta-t of air<heat exchanger) improves cooler efficiency. What am I missing (or getting wrong)?
